Mohammad Khalifa is a western educated and a professional in the field of mechanical engineering and finance with over 20 years of experience. He has extended experience in financial structuring for family offices, conglomerate corporate companies and corporate governance.

He has served as an expert in MENA, European and Asian markets. He is also an insurance expert with vast network relationship in these regions and offer advisory services to several boards committees and new ventures or investments by large corporate family businesses. He has worked in senior managements with banks like Citi bank, Barclays, CBD, CBI and with AIG (insurance company). Recently, he served in the capacity of vice president (Business Development) at DIFC being a part of the regulatory and licensing world where his role was to attract companies and financial institutes to DIFC, to evaluate structures for corporations during setup in DIFC and to provide solutions for deferent structures under common law.

Currently, he is serving in the capacity of CEO at Garantex Global Exchange, where he manages the international relations and expansion of the company. He is also involved in projects with alternative financing solutions where cryptocurrency and blockchain technology serve as tools for fund raising for new and existing businesses in the form of STO, ICO or asset backed tokens.
